DPH delivered a significant E&P installation package as part of the completion of the newBeaulieu Park Station Project. The scope included the installation of FSPs, DNO, MOS and PHCC cubicles, 650V power supplies, walkway and junction lighting, and full points heating systems. DPH also delivered the energisation of the new Chelmsford Principal Supply Point, coordinating both DNO and HV traction power interfaces, alongside the installation of over 1.1km of signalling power cable with terminations at all FSPs, together with the completion of RSC installation and all associated bonding. Following installation, DPH successfully completed all testing and commissioning activities, bringing the systems safely into operational service.
The project was delivered in full compliance with Network Rail standards, with a strong focus on safety, quality and assurance throughout. Detailed planning and close coordination of possessions were essential to delivering the works within a live operational railway, ensuring interfaces were clearly managed and disruption to rail services was minimised.
