DPH delivered a £1.8m electrical installation package at Marble Arch Place, working for Dornan Engineering Services Ltd on a flagship mixed-use development in Marble Arch, London W1. The scheme comprised two buildings — an office building and The Bryanston apartment building — arranged across 17 and 7 storeys. The taller western building includes 54 residential apartments, with shops and an art gallery at ground and basement levels, while the eastern building provides commercial office accommodation with retail space across the lower ground, ground and first floor levels.

DPH’s scope included the installation of cable management systems (CMS), lighting and power provisions, and security containment, supporting the coordinated delivery of base-build electrical infrastructure across both buildings. Works included full setting out and marking out of equipment positions and routes in collaboration with Dornan’s engineering team, followed by installation of 25mm galvanised conduit from existing CMS to final equipment locations. DPH delivered the complete small power installation, including first and second fix of socket outlets, isolators and associated containment, wiring back to local distribution boards and completing final terminations with full circuit identification. DPH also installed lighting throughout the buildings, including internal luminaires suspended within ceilings and directly from soffits, external lighting where required, and all associated switching, controls and wiring back to distribution boards, alongside full emergency lighting circuits across the relevant areas.

During the latter stages of the project, DPH also completed a significant additional fire damper package. This additional scope included the installation of 437 dampers, requiring the supply and installation of all associated power and control/monitoring cabling, containment systems, and final terminations to support the building’s life safety strategy. DPH also managed the handling and final fixing of 10 free-issue MFSD power distribution panels, including the installation of the incoming power supplies and control cabling to each panel. The package was completed with full electrical testing and attendance during commissioning, ensuring the MFSD system was delivered to the required standard and ready for integration into the building’s operational fire safety systems.
