DPH delivered a £1.5m small power and lighting installation package at a North London Data Centre. The project covered the installation of lighting and small power provisions across critical areas of the facility, including data halls, battery rooms, electrical rooms, mechanical corridors and transformer gantries, alongside the secondary containment required to support all associated equipment and interfaces.

The scope included the installation and termination of over 145km of cabling, ranging from 2.5mm² to 300mm², supporting a wide variety of end-use loads and distribution requirements across the build. DPH also installed Tekton busbar lighting systems with dedicated switching, and completed the termination of all lighting and power panels to meet programme milestones and commissioning readiness. Works were delivered with careful sequencing to maintain progress alongside parallel trades and the installation of specialist equipment, including OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) and CFCI (Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed) equipment, with DPH also completing the installation of CFCI equipment as part of the wider package.

Testing and verification formed a key part of delivery, with DPH completing both dead and live testing to support energisation and assurance requirements. Throughout the programme, strict controls were maintained to mitigate FOD (Foreign Object Debris) risk, ensuring the installation met the high standards expected within a mission-critical data centre environment and supporting a clean, compliant handover.
