DPH Management Services delivered an electrical installation package at Ilford Train Depot, working for VolkerFitzpatrick. The scope comprised a range of safety-critical depot upgrades, including the installation of depot protection systems, 720 bollard lighting along the track, points heating systems and pit lighting, all delivered within a live operational depot environment. The works required careful sequencing and interface management to maintain depot functionality while improving safety, visibility and resilience of critical assets.

The team coordinated closely with multiple stakeholders, adopting day and night working patterns to minimise disruption to maintenance activities and train movements. Through clear communication, robust planning and disciplined execution, DPH delivered the works safely, to a high standard of quality and in line with Crossrail and rail industry requirements, demonstrating our capability to deliver complex M&E works in demanding, live depot environments.
