NORTH EAST LONDON DATA CENTRE

DPH is delivering a labour supply contract at a North East London Data Centre, providing experienced management and electrical teams to support the project across a ten-month programme. Working within a fast-paced, mission-critical build environment, DPH has supplied specialist personnel to strengthen delivery across multiple electrical workstreams, maintaining productivity, quality and compliance as installation activities progress in parallel across the facility.

 The scope includes the supply of construction managers, supervisors, electrical testers, electricians and electrical improvers, supporting delivery across key packages including CMS installation, lighting and small power, cable pulling, glanding and terminating, and full testing and certification activities. DPH teams have also supported specialist installation requirements including Roxtec sealing systems, confined space working, and controlled interface delivery in high-risk and restricted-access areas, ensuring works are completed safely and to the standards expected within data centre environments.

 A key value of the contract has been the deployment of experienced construction management and supervision, providing on-the-ground leadership, coordination and quality control. DPH construction managers and supervisors have been responsible for driving daily delivery planning, coordinating labour and access with adjacent trades, controlling sequencing to prevent clashes, and maintaining clear communication between package leads and the wider project team. They oversee installation readiness, ensure RAMS and permit requirements are followed, manage works in restricted and secure zones, and uphold strict housekeeping and FOD controls. Through active QA oversight, progress reporting and issue resolution, DPH supervision has ensured that installation activities remain aligned to programme priorities while maintaining consistent workmanship standards and supporting smooth handover of completed areas for commissioning and close-out.
