DPH delivered a fast-turnaround electrical modification package at Ruislip Underground Depot for Transport for London, supporting infrastructure upgrades within the hospital bay areas on Roads 47 and 47/48. Completed over a two-week period, the works enabled the modification of the existing overhead busbar system across a total of eight hospital bays, requiring careful coordination within a live depot environment to maintain safe operations and minimise disruption.
The scope included modifications to the busbar system and associated insulation, the installation and removal of bolted connections, and the termination and testing of associated cabling to restore full functionality and compliance. Delivered through focused planning and close collaboration with TfL P&E and the wider PLU team, the works were completed efficiently and to a high standard, demonstrating DPH’s ability to execute controlled electrical modifications in operational railway environments under tight time constraints.
