Electrical strip-out

DPH delivered an electrical strip-out package on the Tempo project working for T Clarke, undertaking the safe removal of existing electrical installations to prepare the area for the subsequent installation phase. The scope included the strip-out of lighting and small power systems, including the removal of light fittings and fixtures, socket outlets, PIRs and smoke detectors, followed by the disconnection and removal of all associated wiring. Once the electrical equipment was removed, DPH also completed the strip-out of existing cable management systems (CMS), ensuring the work area was fully cleared and ready for reconfiguration and new-build installation works.
All works were completed in line with the most recent approved drawings issued by T Clarke, ensuring that removals were controlled and compliant with the project design and scope boundaries. Throughout the strip-out, DPH maintained a controlled approach to asset handling and segregation. Fixtures and devices were removed carefully, labelled to an agreed reference system, wrapped using client-provided protective materials, and recorded and stored in agreed locations for client handback. Larger sections of CMS were reduced into manageable lengths prior to removal and transferred to designated waste and disposal points, maintaining safe housekeeping and clear work zones.
